WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Boston University men's swimming & diving team suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday afternoon, falling at Army West Point by a score of 177-47. The Terriers now stand at 2-1 on the year.

Freshman Giovanni Sullo turned in a runner-up finish in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 4:35.67 while sophomore Jonny Farber took second in the 100 backstroke at 50.96.

In diving, sophomore Zein Mahana placed third in both the 1-meter (280.50) and 3-meter (282.00) events.

Senior Justin Liao (100 breast, 57.67) and sophomore Evan Liu (100 fly, 50.79) each recorded third-place finishes.

The 200-yard freestyle relay of senior Jed Tan, sophomore David Kohan, freshman Abraham Lee and freshman Charlie Nenchev placed second in a time of 1:24.59.

In the 200-yard medley relay, Lee, sophomore Ethan Huynh, Tan and Nenchev swam a 1:34.08 to place third.

The Terriers will return to action in two weeks when they host Massachusetts on Saturday, Nov. 9. Meet time is set for 1:30 p.m.
