BOSTON - Highlighted by five doubleheaders at Agganis Arena, the Boston University men's and women's ice hockey programs announced their 2024-25 home schedules on Tuesday.
The men's team will host 16 regular-season games and two exhibition contests, while the women's team will host eight regular-season games at Agganis Arena as Walter Brown Arena undergoes several upgrades set to be unveiled in January 2025. That includes five doubleheaders, which will feature a women's game at 3 p.m., followed by a men's game at 7 p.m. The remaining game times for both teams will be announced later this summer. Agganis Arena will also be undergoing some exciting enhancements, including a new video board and audio system, plus upgrades in Terrier displays and concessions.
The first of those two-game sets at Agganis will be on Oct. 12 when the women host Northeastern before the men welcome Union to town. The following weekend, the women's team will face Maine twice while the men play UConn on Oct. 18 and host Harvard for an exhibition contest on Oct. 19. The remaining pair of doubleheaders will take place on Nov. 1 (women vs. Providence, men vs. Michigan) and Nov. 8 (women vs. Merrimack, men vs. UMass Lowell).
