Lou Cohen was captain of the Terrier basketball team from 1926 to 1928. While at Boston U. he won eight varsity letters; four in cross-country and four in basketball.

Prior to entering B.U., Cohen lettered four years in basketball at Worcester High School of Commerce where he was recently chosen all-time captain. In eight years of high school and college ball he never missed a scheduled game.

During the second World War, Cohen was Field Director of U.S.O. and directed the First Service Command basketball tournaments in the Boston Garden. He also coached the Camp Edwards team, regarded as one of the top basketball teams of that period.

Cohen also owned and directed the Nantasket Day Camp. He devoted much of his time to the Heart Association.
