"Sonny" Fox, a 1955 graduate, is regarded as one
of the best oarsmen ever to come to Boston University. He
led the Terriers to unprecedented rowing success, then later
competed in the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne, Australia
and the World Rowing Championships at Posnan, Poland. He coached
both eight-oar and four-oar crews in five U.S. championships
and eight Canadian championships. He is a native of Buffalo.
