The Boston University Dance Team is a group dedicated to the art of dance and the promotion of school spirit.Â
BUDT represents the University on and off campus all season long, and displays great pride in what they do. The team performs at all men's and women's basketball games, on-campus events, community service events, local dance showcases, and competitions.
BUDT competes in the Division I Team Performance category at Dance Team Union's College Classic in Orlando, FL. BUDT has also competed additional routines in the Jazz, Pom, and Hip Hop categories. In 2014, the team won the Division I Hip-hop National Championship. They followed up in 2016  by winning the Division I Team Performance National Championship. As a member of the Boston University Dance Team, Team members dedicate 12-18 hours per week towards practice, games, events and fundraisers.
