This pillar of the Bloom Family Leadership Initiative focuses on developing our student-athletes, coaches, and staff into leaders within our athletics community and beyond in the pursuit of excellence. Our performer-centered programs cultivate leadership, promote the development of grit and resilience, and build teams with a champion mindset.
In alignment with our vision of world-class leadership programming for Boston University student-athletes, the Bloom Family Leadership Academy (BFLA) is a selective leadership academy designed to equip our student-athlete leaders with transferable skills. The progressive curriculum begins with our freshmen learning about our BU community and ends with our senior student-athletes leading within their community.
