Boston University’s Department of Athletics serves as a source of spirit and pride for the campus with roughly 600 student-athletes competing at the highest level of college athletics in 24 NCAA Division I varsity sports. The Terriers compete in the Patriot League, Hockey East (ice hockey), and the EARC (men's rowing). To learn more about the department, click here.

BU has 17 former Terriers playing in the NHL! Most recently, senior defenseman David Farrance signed with the Nashville Predators in March. In total, there have been 87 former Terriers to make the NHL. Why not catch the Terriers at Agganis Arena before they go pro? Students can learn more about attending games here.
