Nick Pfeifer arrived at Boston University in July, 2013 as a graduate assistant athletic trainer and has been his current role as assistant athletic trainer since July, 2016.
Pfeifer served as a resident athletic trainer within the department from 2015-16 and has been a core faculty athletic training residency member since 2016.
Pfeifer has an area of clinical interest and specialty in neurotrauma and spine pathologies with a particular passion for concussion rehabilitation. He collaborates with clinicians and officials across the university to provide a cohesive concussion management plan for the entire student body. He works alongside the residency faculty to provide mentorship and advanced skill development of all residents with an increased role in the neurotrauma and spine track.
Born and raised in the Garden State, he is a native of Rockaway, New Jersey. He earned a master’s degree in health education from Boston University in 2016 after completing a bachelor’s degree in athletic training with a minor in health education from Kean University in 2013.
