Primarily responsible for the defensive players, Heneberry helped BU reach the Patriot League semifinals and host a quarterfinal game in each of her three seasons. In 2017, she guided Caroline Meegan to earn Defensive Player of the Year honors, while Janelle Macone earned her second-straight All-Patriot League Second Team nod.
Heneberry arrived at BU after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at High Point University. She helped guide the Panthers to back-to-back Big South championships and two-straight NCAA tournament appearances. Heneberry was the defensive coordinator and also worked one-on-one with the goaltenders.
A native of Timonium, Maryland, Heneberry was a four-year standout at Loyola from 2009 until 2012. She helped lead the Greyhounds to a pair of Big East titles and NCAA quarterfinal appearances in 2011 and 2012. Heneberry became the second player in school history to record 100 caused turnovers and 100 ground balls. She was a third-team All-American and team MVP in 2011 and was also named to the 2012 Tewaaraton Award watch list. In addition, she was an All-Big East honoree and All-Tournament selection in her junior and senior years.
