Jess Antelmi was named an assistant coach of the Boston University women’s lacrosse program in September, 2016.
Primarily working with the offense, Antelmi has aided the Terriers to back-to-back 10-8 seasons and two straight appearances in the Patriot League Tournament semifinals.
Antelmi guided Kailey Conry to break BU's single-season assist record with 54 in 2017 and two straight IWLCA All-Northeast Region Second Team nods. Under Antelmi's tutelage Conry her second straight All-Patriot League selection, while Kaitlin Belval earned her first in 2018.
Prior to her time in Boston, Antelmi, spent two seasons at perennial NCAA contender LeMoyne College, where she helped lead the Dolphins to two NCAA Final Four appearances and assisted in mentoring the 2015 Division II Attacker of the Year and seven First Team All-Americans.
Antelmi followed Taylor to LeMoyne after coaching with the seasoned mentor at SUNY Cortland where she served as a graduate assistant. During her season with the Red Dragons, Cortland posted a 22-1 record and appeared in its fourth consecutive Final Four. Antelmi aided in the development of both the Division III Attacker and Defender of the Year.
While Antelmi was at LeMoyne, the Dolphins held opponents to just 7.44 goals per game while scoring 13.72 of their own in 2015 and 2016 and finished with a 36-7 overall record. At Cortland, the Red Dragons outscored their opponents, on average, 15.7-5.7 over the course of the 2014 season.
A 2013 graduate of the University of Albany, Antelmi helped lead the Great Danes to back-to-back America East Championships in 2011 and 2012, leading to two NCAA Tournament appearances. Antelmi earned America East All-Tournament Team honors and IWLCA All-Region recognition as a senior captain. She was named to the America East All-Conference Team in her senior and junior seasons and was one of 12 America East Conference women's lacrosse players to be named to the All-Academic Team in both 2012 and 2013. Antelmi graduated from Albany with a degree in mathematics.
