Boston University

Ashley Jackson joined the Boston University staff in July 2022. As an Assistant Director, Strategic Communications, Jackson serves as the primary contact for the women’s ice hockey, women’s rowing and women’s tennis programs, while also contributing to the athletic department’s graphic design and digital strategy efforts.
 
Jackson arrives at BU following a year at the University of South Carolina as a Communications Assistant. In her role, she served as the primary media contact for the women’s tennis and equestrian teams while also developing graphic design content for both programs.
 
Jackson earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a concentration in Sports Media from South Carolina in May 2021. She also completed a sport & entertainment management minor. Her senior year, she completed an internship with Gamecock Athletics Communications where she served as the media contact for men’s tennis. Outside of athletics, Jackson was a University Ambassador from 2018-21, guiding prospective students on campus tours. She also worked the campus visits check-in desk and was the social media manager for the Ambassadors organization.
 
A native of Sparta, New Jersey and South Orange, New Jersey, Jackson resides in Boston.
