Cassie Gildea joined Boston University in June of 2022 as the associate director of athletics development. She oversees all aspects of the Terrier Athletics Annual Fund and the Department’s alumni engagement efforts.
Gildea previously served as the associate director of athletics giving at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. In her role she oversaw all activities involved with the athletic development annual giving programs and fundraising within the Trinity Athletics Fund. During her time, she helped the athletics department achieve two consecutive record-breaking fundraising years.
Gildea was a four-year member of the Holy Cross women's track & field and cross country team, captaining the track & field team her senior year.
The Milford, Conn., native graduated from Holy Cross in 2016 with a bachelor's in English. She later earned a master’s in public policy from Trinity.
