Women's Swimming Falls to UMass, 155-145

The Terrier women's swimming team fell short in a close meet against UMass on Saturday (November 13th), bowing 155-145.
Senior Abigail Clark turned in an outstanding performance for the Terriers, taking first in the 50M freestyle (24.53), the 200M breaststroke (2:25.16), and the 200M medley relay (1:50.23), respectively.
Amelia Finnerty added two wins to the Terrier effort with victories in the 100 fly, and the 200 medley relay, with times of 59.39 and 1:50.23.
Ingrid Salazar finished first in both the 500 freestyle (5:07.59), 1000 freestyle (10:25.28), as the freshman from Simi Valley, CA remained undefeated in both events.
Freshman Karissa Lopez turned in the third victory of her college career, remaining undefeated in the 200 fly with a time of 2:11.82.
The Terriers are now 1-2 and will host the University of Maine on November 23.
