Women's Swimming Lose Season Opener, 157-143

The Boston University women's swimming team fell to Northeastern, 157-143, on Saturday (October 30th) in the Terriers' first meet of the season.
B.U. had several first-place finishes, including three by senior Abigail Clark. Clark won the 200 breaststroke (2:25.21), the 100 breaststroke (1:05.61), and swam on the 200 medley relay team (1:50.15).
Freshman Ingrid Salazar began her college swimming career with two first-place finishes. Salazar was victorious in the 500M (5:10.10) and 1000M (10:31.60) freestyle races.
Amelia Finnerty and Margaret O'Neil also contributed two first's to the Terrier effort. Senior diver Cindy Hoffman won the one-meter with a score of 251.05 and took second in the three-meter dive.
The Terriers will host America East rival University of New Hampshire on November 6th at 1 p.m.
