Collins Sidelined With Minor Stress Fracture

BOSTON, MA - Boston University men's basketball co-captain Billy Collins (Concord, NH/Bishop Brady) will be sidelined 3-4 weeks with a minor stress fracture in his left foot, head coach Dennis Wolff announced on Oct. 25. Collins injured the foot in practice.
Collins, a 6-7 200-pound sophomore from Concord, NH, was named captain along with Stijn Dhondt on March 13th. He sat out last season as a transfer from Rutgers University.
Collins is a former New Hampshire Player of the Year as named by USA Today, and a USA Today and McDonald's Honorable Mention All-American his senior year at Bishop Brady. He appeared in 24 games for Rutgers and was a valuable addition off the bench, averaging 1.4 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.
