Men's Crew Bows To Syracuse In Season Opener

The men's varsity heavyweight crew opened its season on April 1st on a down note losing to host Syracuse in a hard-fought row.
The final margin was less than a length over the 2000-meter course as the Orange were clocked in 6:04.3, while the Terriers finished in 6:07.1.
The result was more favorable in the second varsity race, as B.U. won by more than a length, 6:17.6 to 6:26.9 for Syracuse.
The Orangeman won the first freshman race, 6:19.0 to 6:31.5.
