Midnight Mayhem Opens Season For Terrier Basketball Teams

BOSTON - Boston University will tip off its 2003-04 men's and women's basketball seasons with Midnight Mayhem on Friday, October 17 on "The Roof" at Case Gymnasium.
Admission is free and the doors open at 11 p.m. The Terriers' players will be introduced at midnight and will compete in a number of competitions afterward.
In addition to a light show, the men's team will thrill the crowd with a dunk competition and both teams will take part in a three-point shooting contest.
The B. U. cheerleaders and dance team will be in attendance, and Phunk Phenomenon will perform as well.
Saturday, Oct. 18 is the first day of practice allowed by NCAA rules for all Division I teams.
The Terrier men's team opens its season Nov. 22 at Holy Cross. The women open their season when they host the B.U. Women's Basketball Invitational on Nov. 22 and 23rd. The Terriers open with a game against the University of Florida Gators.
