B. U. Finalizes Incoming Class With Addition Of Brower

BOSTON - The Boston University men's basketball program completed its 2003-04 recruiting class with the addition of Etienne Brower, a 6-foot-7 forward from West Hempstead, N. Y. He joins Pat Martin, a 6-foot-2 guard from Cathedral High School in Springfield, Mass.
Etienne Brower, 6-7, 195 forward, West Hempstead, N. Y. - Averaged 18.3 points, 14 rebounds, four blocked shots, and four assists as a senior, leading West Hempstead High School to a 22-2 record and its first Nassau Class B championship in 46 years. Brower was the runner-up for the Sandler Award, given to Nassau County's best player each season. Shot a remarkable 59 percent from the field, scoring 1,122 points as a four-year starter for the Rams.
Pat Martin, 6-2, 165 guard, Springfield, Mass. - Averaged 17 points, five rebounds, and seven assists during his senior season. Helped his Cathedral High School team (22-3) win the Massachusetts Division I state title in 2002.
The duo will begin classes and join the basketball team in Sept., 2003.
