
Men's And Women's Crews Wrap Up Fall Season

BOSTON - The Boston University men's and women's crews wrapped up the fall season with the men competing in the Tail of the Charles and the women in the Foot of the Charles on Saturday morning.
The race was competed head-style - in time trials - and featured three races on the women's side and three on the men's.
In the women's varsity fours, BU raced five boats. The "A" and "B" boats both finished in the top 15, turning in times of 15:42.2 and 16:00.4 respectively. The "A" boat placed eighth and the "B" boat finished 13th. In the novice eights, the Terriers raced three boats and got a sixth place finish from the "A" boat in a time of 15:13.2.
On the men's side, BU raced five boats in the varsity coxed fours and had the "A" boat finish as high as fourth in 13:21.2. The "B" boat finished 43.4 seconds behind and placed 15th. In the novice eights the "B" and "A" boats placed back-to-back in sixth (13:05.6) and seventh (13.06.7) places, respectively.
