Day Three Results
BOSTON - The Boston University swimming program hosted the Terrier Invite over the weekend. After three days of competition, the women's team finished in fourth place with 443.5 points, while the men took third with 529 points.
Christina Ruggiero picked up a second place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 17 minutes, 24.37 seconds. Ali Chester took third with a 2:06.35 time in the 200 backstroke.
School-record holder in the 200 free, Eve Kinsella also had a standout performance in the 100 free with a third place finish. Kinsella finished in 52.36. Lidija Breznikar placed second in the 200 breaststroke. Breznikar touched in 2:20.57.
On the men's side, Ben Kaiser was BU's top finisher in the 1650 free, clocking in at 16:52.27 for seventh place. Arik Seiler was sixth in the 200 back with a time of 1:59.92.
The women's 400 free relay of Brigette O'Shaughnessy, Emily Munday, Ali Chester and Kinsella finished second in 3:31.16.
Griffin Moodie took third place honors in the 200 breaststroke, clocking in at 2:15.25. Harrison Kobb and John Passaro combined to finish fifth and sixth in the race, respectively. Harrison finished in 2:20.71 while Passaro finished the race in 2:20.81.
