Men's Freshman Crew Wins Green Monster Invitational

Hanover, N.H. - The Boston University men's freshmen crew took the top two spots to win Dartmouth College's Green Monster Freshman Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 4.
The boats raced three miles against the clock, head-style, and the schools were ranked by the total combined time of their top two boats.
BU's "A" and "B" boats placed first and second out of 20 with times of 14:12 and 14:23, respectively. Tom Ivancic coxed the boat with stroke Milos Drljic, Matt Galica, Matt Dunn, Travis Clarke, Nick Anderson, Andy Fisher, Pat McCarthy and bowman Will Dempsey.
Cox Maria Escallon guided the novice eight of stroke Johnny Hood, Nemanja Bekan, Ricardo Sinicio-Tessarott, Rich McGovern, Kieran Mace, C. Alan Satterwhite, Joe Rubino and bowman Pat Fallon.
The Terriers' "C" boat of cox Kat Eichner, stroke Mike Sehr, Chris Gidicsin, Seth McKeen, Jesse Wisniowski, Connor Montgomery, Tom Knightly, Ryan Mullen and bowman Jason Maley placed 13th with a time of 15:44.
