Men's Golf Finishes Third at America East Championships

BOLTON, Mass. – Sophomore Mike O’Day shot a final round 78 to finish second individually at the America East Championships Tuesday afternoon. O’Day shot a 36-hole total of 152 (+8) to finish two strokes behind individual medalist Dave Arnold of Hartford (150, +6). As a team, BU finished third with a score of 678 (+102). Hartford won the team championship with a 36-hole total of 625 (+49).
The tournament was played on a windy, rain-soaked day on the Oaks Course at the International.
After O’Day, the Terriers were led by senior captain Remy Sloan, who finished 12th at 171 (+27). Steven Smith carded a 178 (+34) to finish 13th, while team captain Jed Prescott finished 14th at 180 (+36). Chris Conroy rounded out the BU squad at 182 (+38).
