Five Frosh Highlight 2006 Men's Basketball Recruiting Class
June 8, 2006 | Men's Basketball
Boston University men’s basketball coach Dennis Wolff announced the signing of five players for the 2006-07 season. The recruiting class boasts a pair of versatile, foreign-born forwards with the ability to score from inside and outside of the arc, a dynamic point guard who led his high school team to back-to-back state championships; a two-guard who was the Maine player of the year; and an athletic wing scorer from Wisconsin.
“I am very pleased with this recruiting class,” said Wolff, who enters his 13th season and is Terrier basketball’s all-time leader in victories. “These five players address some of the needs we have going into next season and they all come from winning backgrounds. Adding five freshmen makes us a very young team, but the talent we have will allow us to overcome that.”
BU's 2006-07 roster will consist of five freshmen, one redshirt freshman, five sophomores and two seniors.
