
Kinsella, Waresmith, Watson Earn AE Weekly Honors

BOSTON - Seniors Eve Kinsella, Tess Waresmith and Andre Watson have all received weekly honors from the America East, as each student-athlete was crucial in the Boston University swimming and diving teams successful weekend at the Terrier Invitational. Kinsella was named the AE Female Swimmer of the Week, while Waresmith and Watson continued to maintain their hold over the Female and Male Divers of the Week honors.
In addition to winning the 200 IM (2:04.37), Kinsella, broke records in the 200 free (1:49.67) and as a member of the 200- and 400-free relays, as well as the 200- and 400-medley relay teams that set Boston University marks. The senior went on to place second in the 100 free and catapulted the Terriers to a first-place finish out of nine teams at the annual Terrier Invite.
Watson earned a first place finish in the 1M diving event at the Terrier Invitational this weekend, posting an impressive score of 309.83, while placing second on the 3M boards (332.15). The senior remains undefeated on the 1M diving board this season, and has been the America East Male Diver of the Week every week for 2008-09.
Despite suffering her first loss of the year in the 3M diving event with a second-place finish (284.45), Waresmith continued to excel on the 1M board, finishing in first place and posting a 301.85 score. Waresmith has been America East female Diver of the Week 14 consecutive weeks dating back to the 2007-08 season.
