Lowe Leads Terriers with 27 En Rout to Victory

BOSTON (AP) - Corey Lowe scored 27 points and Jake O'Brien added 21 to lead Boston University to an 83-75 win over Northeastern on Tuesday.
Lowe scored 23 of his points in the first half, while O'Brien scored all his points in the second half, including five 3-pointers.
Matt Janning led Northeastern with 22 points and seven assists, while Chaisson Allen added 14 points and seven rebounds.
Lowe outscored Northeastern by himself in the early going, putting up 18 as BU opened a 22-16 lead. But Northeastern rallied and took a 40-39 lead at the break on a Janning fadeaway.
BU (3-1) took control with a 10-2 run midway through the second half to turn a two-point advantage into a 59-49 lead. Northeastern (3-2) wouldn't get closer than five points the rest of the way.
BU had a huge advantage from 3-point range, hitting 15 to Northeastern's six.
