BOSTON - After winning the America East Championship for the second season in a row, senior Andrea Walkonen has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of Week for the second time this fall.

Walkonen completed the 5k course in 16:48.2 in Saturday's championship in Cockeysville, Md., the second-fastest time in America East Championship history. She led a pack of 76 runners and finished 34 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor. Walkonen helped the Terriers to a second-place finish in the nine-team event and has won all three races that she has entered this season.
