Women's Crew Finishes Second In Class of 1985 Cup

DERBY, Conn. - The Boston University women's rowing team placed second in the Class of 1985 cup on Saturday morning, ahead of Dartmouth and behind Yale, which continued its hold on the trophy. Three of the other four Terrier boats each finished third in their races.
Yale finished in a time of 6:35.5, BU followed in 6:44.3 and Dartmouth trailed in 6:47.8.
"It was a good step forward," noted head coach Holly Hatton. "It was a good race; they were more composed than the prior two weeks. This will set us up well for next week. We are going in the right direction."
BU returns to action next weekend when it hosts the Charles River Challenge on April 19-20 on the Charles River.
