Knorr, Matyas Named America East Divers of the Week

Cambridge, Mass. - Junior Tanner Knorr and freshman Melinda Matyas have earned the America East Diving Performers of the Week, the conference announced. Knorr and Matyas both performed for the Terriers over the weekend when they took on UMass in Amherst, Mass.
Knorr captured two second-place finishes on the boards at his first meet of the season. With a final score of 267.37, Knorr took second in the one-meter and later posted a score of 245 on the three-meter, which earned him another second place finish for the day.
At her first meet as a Terrier, Matyas claimed both the one- and three-meter diving titles. Matyas claimed the one-meter board with a final score of 219.52. To win the three-meter board, she posted a final score of 271.28. Matyas' two wins helped BU defeat UMass 175-118.
The Terriers return to the pool on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 1:30 pm, when they host Maine at Competition Pool.
