HANOVER, N.H. - The 12th-nationally ranked Boston University men's crew team won four of the five races against No. 18 Dartmouth and Rutgers, including the varsity eights, to capture its fourth consecutive Bill Cup Saturday afternoon on the Connecticut River.
The Terriers won the top race by 7.6 seconds to hoist the trophy for the 14th-overall time in a race that dates back to 1963. BU also won the 2V8, 3V8 and the 2F8 by comfortable margins and finished second in the F8 behind Dartmouth.
The Terriers return to the Charles River next Saturday (April 25) to host No. 6 Columbia (Lusins Cup) and No. 10 Syracuse (Conlan Cup).
