
Dalton, Munroe Nominated for America East Fans' Choice Award

Boston University seniors Sarah Dalton and Kelly Munroe are both nominees for the inaugural America East Women's Lacrosse Fans' Choice Player of the Year award. Fans are encouraged to vote for their favorite player online from now through 5 p.m. Wednesday (April 22). The winner of the award will be announced on Friday (April 24).
Dalton is BU's all-time leading scorer with 255 career points (220g, 35a). This season, she is the nation's leading goal-scorer, averaging 4.57 goals per game, and leads the America East with 64 goals and 73 points. The reigning America East Player of the Year and a first-team All-American last season, the Cornwall, Vt., native has already garnered three America East Player of the Week awards and is one of 25 nominees for the Tewaaraton Trophy, honoring the top player in collegiate lacrosse.
Munroe is a stalwart defender for the Terriers, posting 20 ground balls, 22 draw controls and 14 caused turnovers this season. She commands a defense that has given up only 10 goals per game, third-best in the America East. Munroe, a native of Westwood, Mass., is a member of the US Lacrosse Developmental Team along with Dalton.
