HOW IT HAPPENED
- Stevenson opened the scoring, dodging to the right from the top of the 12-meter arc and shielding her stick from her defender before firing the shot home with 12:35 remaining in the first.
- After Loyola Maryland went up 2-1, Amonte got on the board on a cut through the zone, finishing off a pass from Avery Cutair with 4:56 left in the first.
- Geddes gave BU its first lead of the afternoon with 2:19 on the clock in that quarter after dodging through a plethora of Greyhounds to punch it home.
- Loyola Maryland would go on a three-goal run and had a 5-3 lead with under 10 minutes to play in the first half.
- Stevenson began the Terriers' response with a shot from six meters out, beating the goalkeeper low and to her left.
- Cotraro would tie it with 3:10 remaining in the first half, after a picture-perfect passing play set her up in the middle of the 8-meter arc for a score.
- Stevenson notched a free-position goal with 50 seconds remaining in the second quarter that gave BU a 6-5 lead entering the break.
- In the third, Loyola Maryland shut BU out and scored three goals.
- After opening the fourth with an 8-6 lead, the Greyhounds scored three more goals before the Terriers could respond.
- It was Stevenson again for BU, who had to will her way to the goal and finished from the left side with 7:41 left, cutting the deficit to 11-7.
- The Greyhounds put two more goals on the board in the final 5:05.
- With a save in the second quarter, Aiosa notched her 400th career save. She is the sixth Terrier in program history to accomplish that feat.
- Stevenson's four-goal effort pushed her season goals total to 40, a career high.
- She and Geddes are the first pair of BU teammates to each score 40-plus goals in a season since Danielle Etrasco and Kristen Mogavero in 2013.
- The Terriers dropped to 6-9 in Patriot League Championship games.
