HOW IT HAPPENED
- Amonte opened up the game with a goal 1:02 into the contest, firing home a free position shot toward the bottom-left corner of the goal.
- The Mountain Hawks went on a three-goal run in the first before the Terriers would score again.
- With 32 seconds remaining in the first, Geddes bounced a free-position shot past the goalkeeper to cut the deficit to 3-2.
- In the second quarter, the Mountain Hawks' zone defense stifled BU's offensive attack, not allowing a goal until there was 4:26 remaining in the half. The Mountain Hawks also scored twice in that span.
- Feeney would break the scoreless spell, knifing her way through four defenders before getting her shot off and scoring to make it 5-3 Lehigh.
- Out of the half, Amonte found the back of the net again. She took a feed from graduate student Abby Cotraro in the middle of the arc and while falling down, shoveled the ball past the Lehigh goalkeeper on the bounce to bring BU within a goal.
- Lehigh responded with a goal of its own before Geddes got her second of the game, dodging through contact to make it a 6-5 game with 7:11 remaining in the third quarter.
- Mozi tied the game with 3:18 remaining, taking a backed-up shot and sprinting from X to the front of the cage and scoring.
- The Mountain Hawks would take a 7-6 lead into the final frame, however, as they scored on a free position with 1:30 on the clock in the third.
- After Lehigh went up 8-6 in the fourth, Cotraro reared back and fired in transition and beat the goalkeeper over her left shoulder with 9:22 remaining.
- BU would tie the game with 5:30 left on a player-down goal. Mozi fed to Amonte from X and as the shot clock wound down, Amonte scored to make it 8-8.
- Once again, Lehigh answered, scoring twice in 31 seconds of play to take a 10-8 lead.
- BU would win a critical draw and Amonte scored again, taking a feed from Mozi as she cut down toward the goal and beating the keeper with 2:27.
- Another draw control for the Terriers led to a goal just 25 seconds later, as Cotraro curled around the cage and took a pass from freshman Avery Cutair before scoring, tying the game at 10-10 and sending it to overtime.
- The first overtime period saw a combined three shots on goal, and junior keeper Natalie Aiosa stopped two shots in the frame, but neither team tallied a goal in five minutes.
- BU had almost a minute of two-player-up time to open the second overtime frame, but failed to score in that time.
- After multiple chances, Lehigh broke through with five seconds remaining in double overtime and won.
- For the second straight season, the Terriers fell to Lehigh in a game that went past regulation.
- Geddes grabbed six ground balls, a career high. She also had six draw controls and two caused turnovers.
- BU went 20-for-22 on clears while Lehigh went 21-for-26.
- Inglis' 37:28 of game time are her most minutes in a game as a Terrier.
- The Terriers will finish off their home regular season schedule against the Colgate Raiders on Wednesday, April 15 at 4:30 p.m.
