Seymour Added to Women's Lacrosse Staff

BOSTON — Olivia Seymour was hired by the Boston University women's lacrosse team as an assistant coach, head coach Lauren Morton announced on Wednesday.
Seymour will make the trek to Comm. Ave. from Middlebury College, where she spent three seasons as an assistant coach and helped lead the Panthers to three consecutive NCAA Division III Championships.
In addition to the NCAA titles, Seymour earned two NESCAC championships in 2024 and 2026, coached the 2024, 2025 and 2026 IWLCA National Players and Attackers of the Year and coached the 2026 IWLCA National Defender of the Year. During her time in Middlebury, she coached 14 All-Americans and helped the team set new program records in 2024 and 2026.
Under head coach Kate Livesay, Seymour earned three consecutive IWLCA National Coaching Staff of the Year honors from 2024 to 2026, along with Regional Coaching Staff of the Year and NESCAC Coaching Staff of the Year awards in that same timeframe.
Prior to her time at Middlebury, Seymour served as an assistant coach at Williams College in 2023. The Ephs sported a 10-6 record and qualified for the NESCAC tournament, while Seymour coached two athletes to All-NESCAC status.
Seymour had a playing career of her own at Hamilton College, where she was a two-time IWLCA All-Region honoree during her four years there.
During the 2022 season as a senior captain, she led the team in points (50) and was second in goals (32). She received the Rippey award at the end of the 2022 season for embodying Mackay Rippey's legacy with "mental toughness, competitive spirit, sense of humor and team-first mentality."
She graduated from Hamilton College in 2022, where she majored in music and Hispanic studies.
