Freshman Elliot Lehane was named a most valuable player of the 2008 Boston University men's cross country team. Lehane made his collegiate debut at the New England Championship on Oct. 11 and ran to a 44th-place finish, second among the Terriers, in Franklin Park. He was the top finisher for the Terriers at the America East Championship, coming in 20th, and second among BU's contingent at the NCAA Northeast Regional with a 91st-place finish. Lehane shared MVP honors with senior David Proctor.
