Chantell Alford Named Student-Athlete of the Week

BOSTON - Sophomore Chantell Alford is this week's GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week after averaging 15.3 points per game in three contests.
Throughout the week she progressively scored more points, beginning with 12 at Northeastern, then 13 vs. UMass and culminating with a season-high 21 points at Marist. Against the Red Foxes, Alford scored just seven in the first stanza and then exploded for 14 second-half points on 4-for-5 shooting. Additionally, she dished out 3.7 apg, and brought in 3.3 rpg in three games.
In just her second season in the scarlet and white, Alford has amassed 577 career points and has a 14.1 career scoring average.
