BOSTON - Competing in three races, the 12th-ranked Boston University men's crew team swept George Washington Saturday morning on the Charles River. The Terriers will next face No. 8 Wisconsin and MIT on Sunday with competition set to begin at 8 a.m. in the final home race of the season.
In the second varsity eight race, BU won with a time of 6:06.9. Showing BU's depth, the 2F/3V boat coxed by Maria Escallon and stroked by Kyle Jones pushed ahead in the final 1,000 meters to edge the Colonials by three seconds.
