Terriers Conclude Fall Season with Foot of the Charles

BOSTON - The Boston University women's rowing team concluded the fall schedule at Foot of the Charles with two top-10 finishes on Saturday morning.
Coxed by freshman Katie Scott and stroked by classmate Claire Richer, the novice eight boat led the Terriers with a fifth-place result at 15:30.6, beating the top boats from UMass, Rhode Island, Rutgers and Buffalo.
In the varsity four race, BU's top crew took seventh at 14:15.6. Coxed by senior Kayla Rivers and stroked by sophomore Lynn Ratte, the Terriers finished 0.5 seconds behind Rhode Island and 2.1 seconds behind Buffalo. They placed ahead of Northeastern by 28 seconds and also topped Boston College, Rutgers and MIT.
BU will now continue training and prepare for final exams before opening the spring dual season at Clemson on Saturday, March 17.
