
Women's Diving Competes at Galbraith Invite

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Boston University women's diving team finished the two-day Galbraith Diving Invite at the Rutgers Aquatic Center with three top-six results.
Sophomore Chelsea Glincman advanced to the finals in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events. After taking seventh in the 1m semifinals, she placed sixth in the finals with a score of 226.20. She had the same result in the 3m at 226.10.
Junior Melinda Matyas only competed in the 3m and came away with a fifth-place result, just missing out on fourth by 0.65 points at 253.05.
Senior Bailey O'Brien was the third Terrier to participate. She took ninth in the 1m semifinals (189.35) and 10th in the 3m (178.55).
Other schools competing included Rutgers, Massachusetts, Villanova and Army.
BU will next travel to New Hampshire on Jan. 16, 2011.
