
Futterman Earns Spot on U.S. Under-23 National Team

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. - Boston University men's crew rising sophomore Lenny Futterman earned a spot on the Under-23 National Team in the men's double sculls and will represent the United States at the World Championships in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from July 21-24.
Rowing with Craftsbury Sculling Center's Henry Moore, he edged out Oklahoma City's James Von Peters and Drew McNicholas by just 0.03 seconds, posting a time of 6:36.02 at the line for the U-23 World Championship berth.
This past season, Futterman sat in the No. 7 seat and helped the Terriers' freshman eight boat reach the Grand Final at both the IRAs and Eastern Sprints.
