NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - The Boston University women's cross country team finished sixth at the Central Conn. State Mini Meet on Friday afternoon at Stanley Quarter Park.

Senior Nikki Long was the top finisher for the Terriers, as she placed 12th with a time of 10:38.38. Junior Danielle Bowen was not far behind, as she turned in a 14th-place finish (10:40.11).

Sophomore Ashli Tagoai was 28th (11:00.24), while freshman Erin Pierce rounded out the top 30 with a time of 11:02.74. Junior Janelle Jorgensen placed 58th (11:38.68) to complete the Terriers' top five.

Three BU harriers finished one right after the other, as freshman Taxiarhia Arabatzi was 71st (12:00.80), senior Marita Stressenger was 72nd (12:01.36) and Jillian Rosati was 73rd (12:03.14).

This was the final regular-season meet for the Terriers, as they will next compete at the NCAA Northeast Regional in New London, Conn., on Nov. 9.
