After finishing ninth at the NCAA Northeast Regional and qualifying for the NCAA Championships, junior Rich Peters has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
Peters helped lead the Terriers to a ninth-place finish as a team at Friday’s regional. The Bristol, England, native earned All-Region honors for his effort and is the first Terrier to qualify for the NCAA Championships since 2003.
The Championships will be held on Saturday (Nov. 17) at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky. The men's race will begin at 1:15 p.m.
