
Three Divers Represent Terriers at Zone Diving Championship

BUFFALO, N.Y. - A trio of Boston University divers competed at the NCAA Zone "A" Diving Championships held Friday through Sunday at the Alumni Arena Natatorium at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, N.Y.
Junior Melinda Matyas, the 2012 America East Diving Champion, competed in the 1-meter and 3-meter events at the Zone Championship. Matyas advanced to the finals off the 3-meter board and concluded with a final score of 496.20 to finish 17th. The Budapest, Hungary, native scored 207.25 points from the 1-meter board to finish 35th.
Sophomore Chelsea Glincman also competed at the event, finishing in 24th on the 1-meter board with a score of 225.25 and 29th on the 3-meter with 230.40 points.
On the men's side, sophomore Jared Scheck represented the Terriers in the 1-meter and 3-meter events. Scheck finished with 210.00 points on the 3-meter board and totaled 221.15 points on the 1-meter board to finish 37th in both events.
