HANOVER, N.H. - Highlighted by the program's seventh straight Bill Cup victory, the No. 12 Boston University men's crew earned a sweep over No. 15 Dartmouth and Rutgers Saturday morning on the Connecticut River.
Coxed by senior Bobby McGee and stroked by sophomore Moritz Franz, the Terriers' varsity eight boat concluded the day with a 5.9 second victory over the Big Green with a winning time of 5:42.5. The Scarlet Knights finished third at 6:08.6.
Following last weekend's tough 0.8 second loss to Northeastern, the freshman eight boat coxed by Lauren Harvey and stroked by Kevin Jones rebounded with a 1.6 second win over Dartmouth.
BU also pulled out a 4.7 second win in the second varsity eight race and a 9.4 second victory in the varsity four race.
The Terriers will next return to the Charles River and host both No. 13 Syracuse and No. 16 Columbia on Saturday, April 21.
