Sophomore Rich Peters was named the most valuable performer for the 2011 men's cross country team after he won two races and was the Terriers' top finisher in every race he ran during the season.
Peters won the first two races of the season, as he claimed the top spot at the Bryant Invitational and the Codfish Bowl. He also had a top-five finish at both the New England Championships and at the America East Championships.
His season concluded at the NCAA Northeast Regional, where he finished 49th.
