After winning the New England Championship, junior Rosa Moriello of the Boston University women’s cross country team has been named GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Moriello became the third straight Terrier to win the women’s title when she crossed the line first with a time of 17:13, nearly 14 seconds faster than the next closest competitor. She is the fastest of the trio (Katie Matthews, Monica Adler) to complete the 5K course at Franklin Park. Moriello has won both of the races in which she has competed in 2013.

The Naugatuck, Conn., native is enrolled in the School of Management, majoring in business administration and management.
