Moriello Named to NCAA All-Region Team

NEW ORLEANS - Junior Rosa Moriello of the Boston University women's cross country team was named to the NCAA All-Northeast Region Team, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Moriello finished 25th at the NCAA Northeast Regional on Nov. 15 to secure the honor. She was one of just two Patriot League athletes to be named to an All-Region squad. It is the second time that Moriello has been an All-Region selection; she finished 18th at the 2011 Northeast Regional as a sophomore.
The Naugatuck, Conn., native had her finest season at BU in 2013. She won three of the four races in which she competed, including the New England Championship and Patriot League Championship. Moriello was named Patriot League Female Runner of the Year after she helped lead the Terriers to their first-ever Patriot League title.
