After finishing first at the Patriot League Championships on Saturday, junior Rosa Moriello of the Boston University women’s cross country team has been named GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

The junior harrier helped BU win its first-ever Patriot League title with her first-place finish. She crossed the finish line with a time of 21:09.93, nearly 40 seconds faster than the second-place competitor. The Naugatuck, Conn., native has won all three races in which she has entered, including the New England Championships in October.

Moriello is enrolled in the School of Management, majoring in business administration and management.
