Terriers Top George Washington At Double Dual

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The BU men's swimming and diving team beat George Washington in its first double duel meet of the season at Bucknell on Saturday afternoon. The team amassed 377.5 points, the second-most behind Bucknell, who earned 408.5 points.
The team started the day with a win in the 200 medley relay, which was made up of Connor Stuewe, Mario Caballero, Ryan Bach and Brian Habacivich.
Stuewe then went on to win the 100 backstroke while Quinn Smith finished third in the event. Caballero took second in the 100 breaststroke, missing a first-place finish by one-hundredth of a second and Daniel Andronov finished in third in the race.
The Terriers did well in the 50 freestyle, taking second, third and fourth in the event. Habacivch missed first by two-tenths of a second and was followed by Cole Puchi and Linc Kupke.
Puchi then went on to win the 100 freestyle while Stuewe took first in the 200 backstroke.
Garrett Chin ended the day with a win in the 400 freestyle relay, which was made up of Stuewe, Andres Vazquez, Puchi and Habacivch.
