
Men's Basketball Announces Broadcast Schedule

BOSTON - Starting with the season opener against Northeastern, the defending Patriot League regular season champion Boston University men's basketball team will have at least seven games televised this season.As part of the second annual Coaches vs. Cancer Tripleheader at TD Garden, NESN will broadcast the Terriers' fifth straight season-opening contest with the Huskies starting at 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 16.
BU's road trips to a pair of 2014 NCAA Elite Eight participants will be televised. National runner-up Kentucky will host the Terriers at the famed Rupp Arena Nov. 21 on Fox Sports regional networks.
After visiting Dayton (Dec. 20) on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel Ohio, the Terriers will compete in at least four national broadcasts during the Patriot League schedule. The American Sports Network will broadcast BU's visit to Navy (Jan. 7) and the Terriers' home game against Colgate on Feb. 11.
CBS Sports Network will televise BU road games at Lafayette (Feb. 9) and at American (Feb. 18). BU may appear two more times on the network before the conference tournament begins due to the final two weekends being designated as flex games. The Terriers' contest at Bucknell on Feb. 22 and home game against Holy Cross on Feb. 28 are eligible to be picked up. The Patriot League tournament semifinals (March 8) will be followed by title game on the network on March 11.
For the second consecutive year, fans will be able to watch all home contests and road conference games not on CBS SN for free through the Patriot League Network. The conference will unveil this season the PLN Game of the Week in which Campus Insiders will send its production and broadcast crew to broadcast the game.
Campus Insiders will be present for four PLN broadcasts featuring the Terriers - at Colgate (Jan. 14), vs. American (Jan. 21), vs. Navy (Feb. 4) and vs. Army (Feb. 25).
BU alums Doug Brown ('78) and Brian Maurer ('07) will again provide the radio call for every game through the Terrier Sports Radio Network, which can be accessed anywhere around the world at http://www.goterriers.com/tsrn.
