Varsity Eight Boat

After a successful weekend at the 50th annual Head of the Charles Regatta, the men's first varsity eight boat has been named GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

BU finished eighth in the championship eight race. The V8, coxed by senior Lauren Harvey and stroked by junior Vass Ragoussis, finished with a time of 14:39.73, which put it in a very strong eighth overall position and fourth fastest amongst collegiate crews.

Only Harvard, Cal, and defending IRA national champion Washington were able to edge out BU. The result positions BU among the very best collegiate crews in the nation.
